Looking for abortion advice in the Manchester area?
At MSI Reproductive Choices UK we provide counselling services for anyone who would like to talk through their abortion options before booking their consultation appointment.
Counselling is the process of talking through your worries or questions with a qualified professional. It is a form of talking therapy that lets you discuss your feelings in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
NHS-funded abortion counselling
The counselling team at MSI Reproductive Choices UK are highly trained, experienced, and qualified to help you explore and manage your thoughts, feelings, and options as your make decisions about your care.
It’s important to know that our counsellors don’t offer you advice, but instead help you deal with issues and realise your coping strategies.
No matter what you’re struggling with, our independent counsellors will enable you to make the decision that’s right for you.
We have both male and female counsellors in our team. If you would be more comfortable talking to a counsellor of a specific sex, please let us know when you call to arrange the appointment.

What is an abortion or “termination of pregnancy”?
An abortion is the deliberate medical process of ending a pregnancy. An abortion is also known as a ‘termination’ or ‘termination of pregnancy‘. At MSI Reproductive Choices UK we offer two types of abortion care: medical abortion (abortion pills) and surgical abortion.

Are abortions safe?
Abortion is very safe, when performed in a Department of Health and Care Quality Commission registered clinic, with specialists performing approved treatment, like at MSI Reproductive Choices UK.
