Contraception clinics
MSI UK’s long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) clinics
In addition to the contraception we offer as part of NHS-funded abortion care, we have launched a number of clinics across England where we can offer long-acting reversible contraceptive methods (LARC) for people who have not accessed our abortion services.
From these clinics, we offer the fitting and removal of the non-hormonal coil, the hormonal coil and the contraceptive implant.
Long-acting reversible contraceptive methods are the gold standard of the contraception world.
They are the most effective methods of contraception, they don’t interrupt sex, and once they’re fitted, you can forget about them. They are perfect if you are sure you don’t want to get pregnant for a while, and if you prefer a method that you don’t have to remember to take often.
They’re all reversible, so if you want to, you can plan a future pregnancy at a time that’s right for you.
