Request your abortion appointment online
On this page, you can request an abortion appointment online. You can either do this by using our new portal – Blue Door – or by requesting a phone appointment.

The first step in accessing abortion care is completing a health form, to help determine the treatment option that’s right for you.
Once this form has been completed – either online by using our Blue Door portal, or during a phone appointment – your treatment appointment will be booked.
Step 1: Check that we provide NHS-funded services in your area

If you want treatment with MSI UK, please contact your GP and ask for a referral to us. Your GP will provide you with a Unique Booking Reference Number (UBRN) and a passcode.
Once you have your UBRN, you can book online or give us a call.
If you don’t want to contact your GP for a referral and want to find out who the other available providers are, the NHS website has a list at this link.
What is a UBRN?
UBRN stands for Unique Booking Reference Number. It is a code that allows MSI UK to track your referral back to your GP.
How do I get a UBRN?
You will need to speak to your GP to get this number. You don’t need a face-to-face appointment: you can request a call back or use your GP’s online portal, if they have one. You will need to tell your GP or your GP’s reception that you require an urgent NHS e-referral to access MSI Reproductive Choices UK . Instruct your GP surgery to search for MSI Reproductive Choices in their Directory of Services. If your GP has any questions, you can tell them to phone us.
