Patient safety incident framework
The Patient Safety Incident Response Framework is a new approach to managing and responding to patient safety incidents. It advocates a coordinated and data-driven response for wider learning and improvement. This supports us to proactively seek opportunities to continually improve the quality and safety of the care we provide.
Patient safety incident policy and plan
We are required to publish two key documents to explain how we will meet the requirements of our Patient safety incident framework: a “Patient safety incident response plan” and a “Patient safety incident policy”.
