Vasectomy costs
As part of vasectomy care at MSI UK, we provide the non-scalpel vasectomy procedure with local anaesthetic. The prices are as follows, and include post-procedure semen testing at 16 weeks (if you’d like to re-check your semen at any point in the future, this will cost £40):
- Consultation – £70
- Procedure – £480
This makes the total cost of a private vasectomy £550.

How to access NHS-funded vasectomy care at MSI UK
If you do not want to pay for a vasectomy, you may be eligible for NHS-funded vasectomy care.
One way to access NHS-funded vasectomy care is by getting a referral from your GP. Once we have received your referral form, we will contact you, either by phone or post, to book your consultation and treatment appointment. Please note that an NHS referral will last for one year before it needs to be renewed.
In some areas of the country, you can refer yourself for an NHS-funded vasectomy, without seeing your GP first.
