After finding myself in this position, I cannot thank everyone enough for their patience, professionalism and care throughout.

A client’s experience of accessing abortion care with MSI UK, and the support they received.

“I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone at MSI choices. Three weeks ago, I made the incredibly hard decision to terminate my pregnancy.”

I called the service on a Sunday afternoon and had a telephone consultation with a nurse on Monday evening. She was calm, reassuring and so non-judgemental, even when I broke down over the phone.

This process was unbelievably heartbreaking for me, but the only consolation was that this service was seamless and made as easy as possible. Everything was explained to me in depth and at my own pace, as my history with pregnancy and loss made the process so overwhelming.

Having an abortion was something I never thought I would need, or choose to do, and from a young age I was exposed to the stigma of abortion. After finding myself in this position, I cannot thank everyone enough for their patience, professionalism and care throughout.
