As a leading sexual and reproductive healthcare provider, we stand in solidarity with Jess Phillips MP and with all survivors of sexual violence and exploitation.

In recent days, Jess has been subject to slurs, accusations, and conspiracy theories which not only put her in personal danger but which weaponize the trauma of survivors in a profoundly disturbing way.

In our 2024 policy vision election manifesto, we encouraged all political candidates to reject misinformation and root debate in facts and evidence. We repeat that call now and encourage media commentators to do the same.

Jess has been a fierce advocate for all survivors of gender-based violence long before she held the post of Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls. We send her our full support and solidarity in the face of these baseless attacks.

Our thoughts are with Jess, and with all survivors of abuse and violence, who deserve justice.
