On Thursday, 9th July 2026, we were pleased to officially open the doors to MSI UK’s West Midlands (Birmingham) clinic, as part of continued celebrations marking MSI Reproductive Choices’ 50th anniversary.
The day began with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect with our partners, stakeholders and brilliant colleagues.
Visitors were then invited to take a tailored tour of our new Birmingham clinic, offering a detailed look at the state-of-the-art facilities and key touchpoints throughout the client journey – from the waiting room through to our surgical treatment rooms. Tours were led by our expert local teams, who shared insights into the high-quality care provided at every stage.

To round off the event, MSI UK also hosted a panel discussion: ‘How has the UK’s reproductive healthcare landscape changed in 50 years?‘. The conversation was hosted by Louise McCudden, Head of External Relations, Advocacy and Communications, and featured contributions from Dr Yvonne Neubauer, Deputy Medical Director; Caroline Day, Named Nurse for Safeguarding; and Eleanor Arrowsmith, Digital Content Lead.
The panel offered thoughtful insights into developments in surgical abortion care, championing choice, innovative safeguarding practices, and digital development.

Speaking about the success of the event, Suzanne Dickinson, Associate Director of Business Development and Engagement, said:
“It was fantastic to feel the passion and energy in the room from both our trusted partners and the MSI team as we marked a major milestone for our organisation with the official opening of our landmark new centre in the Midlands.
It was especially poignant to celebrate this against the backdrop of our 50th anniversary. We look forward to the next 50 years of providing vital reproductive healthcare to everyone who needs it.”
Thank you to all who attended and helped make the launch such a memorable occasion. We look forward to continuing to celebrate 50 years providing vital reproductive healthcare. Here’s to new horizons!
