Introducing MSI UK’s new abortion care video series

MSI UK is proud to launch a new video series featuring our nurses and midwives, designed to support clients before, during, and after their abortion treatment.

Filmed at our contact centre in Bristol – home to the team behind our dedicated, 24/7 aftercare line – this 14-part series answers some of the most commonly asked questions our colleagues receive every day, as well as the most searched queries on Google.

Supporting clients during their journey

We know how important it is to provide clear, accessible information about abortion care, in a range of formats to suit our clients’ needs. We also know that some questions and worries come up time and time again. This video series was created to offer accurate and easy-to-understand answers to the questions we hear most often, including:

“Will abortion affect my fertility?”
“What’s the difference between a medical and surgical abortion?”
“What should I expect after my treatment – in terms of pain, bleeding or my next period?”
“What do I do if I get a positive pregnancy test after my abortion?”

These videos are presented by our very own nurses and midwives, who not only share their knowledge but also reflect the kindness and support our clients can expect when they contact our team.

Anti-choice content online and the need for accurate abortion care information

We also recognise that there is a growing amount of anti-choice content online, designed to mislead, shame or dissuade people seeking abortion care. From unverified claims to intentionally inaccurate medical information, this content can cause real harm.

It’s more important than ever that people have access to evidence-based information about reproductive healthcare, from trusted clinical professionals.
