“The staff and other patients were really personable.”

Share your story as part of a new documentary film

MSI UK is working with a BAFTA and Emmy-winning production company on a documentary film that follows the stories of people considering and seeking a surgical abortion. We’re looking for people interested in sharing their story and being featured in the documentary.

This client shares their story after accessing a surgical abortion with us at our South Yorkshire (Rotherham) clinic.

I had a surgical abortion after previously having had a bad experience with a medical one.

The clinic was so comfy, and staff and other patients were all really personable, which helped to put my mind at ease.

I was walked through every step and consistently provided attentive and high-quality care.

I am so glad I chose to have a surgical abortion versus another medical abortion and would happily recommend MSI to anyone who finds themselves in my situation.

There are two types of abortion: medical (or abortion with pills) and surgical. Most people having an abortion can choose how it will be carried out. Your choice will depend on your individual circumstances (for example, how many weeks pregnant you are) and how you feel about the different options. Learn more about the difference and compare using our comparison table.

Sharing stories is at the heart of ending the stigma that too many people still feel when it comes to abortion.
