I had always thought that if I got pregnant young or at a time when I didn’t feel ready, I would have an abortion, but after having a positive pregnancy test I started to question what I thought would be an easy decision. I arranged counselling through MSI and spoke through my options and had support throughout the decision. When I came to the decision to terminate my pregnancy, I arranged a medical abortion.
I felt comfortable through the entire phone consultation and appointment. I was helped through the process by the midwife who answered all questions I had, then after taking the pills at home, the aftercare information given and the helpline reassured any concerns I had.
