“We wanted children, but not yet.”

In this story, a client from the West Midlands shares their experience of accessing at-home medical abortion care with MSI UK, collecting their medication from our Merry Hill (Dudley) clinic.

Finding out I was pregnant was a scary, unpleasant experience. I wasn’t ready. We wanted children, but not yet.

Everybody I spoke to at MSI was kind, understanding and reassuring. Not once did I feel judged for the decision I had made.

“Everybody was kind, understanding and reassuring.”

I chose to have the medical abortion at home and was promptly able to collect my medication and begin my treatment.

As I write this, I have taken my first tablet but wanted to share my positive experience.

“Without services like MSI, I’m not sure where my path would have taken me.”

Each healthcare professional provided me with ample detail and ensured I understood exactly what would happen to my body for a short time.

Without services like MSI, I’m not sure where my path would have taken me. I know I’d be struggling mentally and physically if I was unable to access abortion.

Abortion is essential healthcare, and people at MSI drive this home.
