MSI Reproductive Choices UK (MSI UK) is proud to launch a national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme for 2026–2027.
Our CPD programme is accredited by the CPD certification service, an independent body with over 30 years’ experience providing CPD accreditation. The CPD Certified Trademark indicates that our training activity has been reviewed and independently certified as being suitable for CPD purposes.

What is Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?
Continuing Professional Development is the process of developing and maintaining professional knowledge, expertise, and competence in your field in order to practice effectively and work towards improving the health of the population.
Who is the CPD programme for?
MSI UK’s CPD offering is available to all healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners (GPs), Midwifes, Nurses, Surgeons, etcetera. This programme is designed to support them across the system to facilitate timely, informed access to reproductive care and strengthen the consistency and quality of patient support.
Why is MSI UK offering CPD?
Through this work, we aim to keep abortion care central to the national women’s health conversation, while equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to provide compassionate, informed, and patient-centred care. By increasing awareness of clinical pathways, addressing misconceptions, and closing knowledge gaps, we aim to support better access to abortion and contraception services and empower informed reproductive choice across the country.
What will MSI UK’s CPD programme involve?
Delivered by our Subject Matter Experts—including our UK Medical Director, Associate Clinical Director, and clinical leads in aftercare, safeguarding, and contraception—the programme will offer focused, practical sessions on:
- 2nd December 2026, 1pm – Contraception After Abortion: Collaborating to Support Choice
