Your experience in our clinics

Our services are booking-only, all patients go through a screening process prior to arrival at the centre.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we have had to reduce the footfall within our centres to keep all clients and team members safe.

To encourage social distancing, all clients are asked to attend the clinic by themselves. We will allow clients to be accompanied by one companion in exceptional circumstances only, and this must be prearranged and discussed during your consultation.

Clients who are under 18 or vulnerable can attend with one other person.

Furthermore, please note that there are screens at reception and many hand hygiene units around the building as well as signs throughout the building reminding staff and clients alike to wear a facemask, maintain social distancing where possible and informative posters about spread of disease and how to prevent it.

PPE is being worn in our clinics by staff members in all areas.

TELEMEDICINE service - At Home Abortion Pills

Following initial screening, a phone consultation and all necessary safeguarding checks, eligible women will be able to take both sets of abortion pills at home WITHOUT attending a clinic.

Our Vasectomy Services are up and running

Our vasectomy services have been up and running since 11th May 2020 in most areas. GPs are invited to refer using their normal referral process to ensure their patients have access to our Vasectomy service. We are happy to receive referrals from any GPs referring from areas were services have not yet re-commenced. In some of our vasectomy centres clients may be asked to wait in their cars outside of the premises until they are called in for their appointment.

Travelling from Northern Ireland

If the gestation of your pregnancy is under 9 weeks and 6 days abortion services are now being provided locally in Northern Ireland. If your gestation is over 10 weeks you can access NHS-funded abortion care in England. We believe in choice and will support you every step of the way.

How to receive your abortion pills by post

Dr Yvonne Neubauer is MSI Reproductive Choices UK's Associate Clinical Director: she is passionate about delivering safe abortion care to all pregnant people considering this option.

In this video she explains how the new "At home abortion pills" service works, how to receive your pills by post, and how to get in touch with us if you would need to.

Our network of over 60 clinics will also remain open for anyone who is not eligible for this option and needs, or prefers, to attend a clinic to receive face-to-face care.
