MSI Reproductive Choices UK (MSI UK) announces the launch of their new website to support people accessing abortion, contraception and vasectomy services.
The new website has been designed to support anyone accessing abortion, vasectomy and contraception services in the UK, and ensure they feel informed and empowered throughout their care. A range of new pages have been published to provide comprehensive information about reproductive healthcare, alongside new tools and features designed to support clients during their treatment journey with MSI UK.
Helping people to feel informed about their options and care
We know how important it is to feel informed about your reproductive healthcare options, and to know what to expect when accessing care.
Through conversations with our clients, we identified the need for digital tools and content that can be used by anyone accessing – or simply looking for further information about – abortion, vasectomy and contraception care.
For example, it is essential for people accessing abortion services to understand the different treatment options. To support this and ensure that everyone can make informed choices about their treatment, we have developed a gestation calculator that can be used by anyone to estimate how many weeks pregnant they are, and as a result what treatment options might be available to them. Alongside our new gestation calculator, we have created an abortion comparison table to inform people about the differences between medical abortion and surgical abortion and help them choose the method that’s right for them.
Additional new features include abortion and vasectomy treatment timelines so people know what to expect at each stage of their treatment with MSI UK, a contraception comparison table to support people to find the contraceptive method that best suits them, and an improved, interactive map showcasing MSI UK’s network of over 70 clinics across England.
